Ozannes acted for long-standing client, Close Enhanced Commidities Fund Limited, in connection with the restructuring and winding up of that entity. The matter involved establishing a separate trust into which a substantial illiquid loan note issued by an Icelandic bank was transferred for the benefit of shareholders. This was done so as to permit the winding up of this closed-ended fund at the appointed date. The Company was established as an authorised closed-ended fund listed on the London Stock Exchange.
