Ozannes acted for a very severely injured claimant in what was the Island's largest civil trial for some years. The case lasted 6 weeks and included a mass of expert evidence, including acturial, accountancy and economic. The case made a considerable difference to personal injury law in the Channel Islands. A total sum of £9.3m was recovered. The case will be of national importance in the field of personal injury law.
