Ozannes recognise that the banking and finance sector is an important component to the offshore finance centres in which we operate. Increasingly banks operating offshore seek specialist banking advice from lawyers located there who understand their business and are aware of their requirements. Our Banking and Finance team advise on all areas of banking regulation, documentation, security packages, redomiciliation and the establishment and operation of banking institutions in Guernsey and Jersey. The team undertakes all aspects of banking and finance work including advising on financing structures (including asset finance, structured finance and real property holding structures) and ongoing regulatory and compliance advice. It also provides advice on transactional banking work including drafting and negotiating finance documents, facility agreements, loan notes assignments, security documents and advises from a Guernsey law perspective on non-Guernsey finance and security documents.
