Garth joined Ozannes in 1980 and has a specialist knowledge of all matters relating to the Guernsey law of realty and conveyancing in particular. He was a partner and Head of the Private Client, Property & Planning team until May 2010 and now acts as a consultant for the firm. Garth is also a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

Andrew Bridgeford

Andrew was called to the English Bar in 1986 and qualified as a Jersey Advocate in 1988. He has over twenty years' experience in Jersey corporate, banking and commercial law and was previously a partner in another Jersey firm. He is the author and publisher of the Weekly Digest of Jersey Law, which has established itself an important resource for Jersey lawyers, and was the general editor and a contributing author of Offshore Legal Opinions in Loan and Security Transactions (Sweet & Maxwell, 1996). He has also served on the editorial board of the Jersey and Guernsey Law Review.

John qualified as an English Solicitor in 1981. He was a partner of Maples and Calder in the Cayman Islands before joining Ozannes in 1999 as a Consultant. John specialises in securitisations and has comprehensive experience and expertise in this field, as well as in corporate finance and offshore funds.

Rupert Evans

Rupert practiced at the Chancery Bar for 14 years before moving to Guernsey in 1976 where he established his reputation as a leading funds and trust lawyer. Rupert retired as a partner of Ozannes in 2004 and now acts as a consultant to the firm. In 2005 he was appointed by the Department of Commerce and Employment of the States of Guernsey as Chairman of the Trust Law Working Party to review the existing legislation in Guernsey relating to trusts, and he was instrumental in securing the enactment of the Trust (Guernsey) Law 2007.

Peter Harwood

Peter was in private practice in London with Coward Chance before becoming a Corporate Finance Executive with Hill Samuel & Co Limited. In 1980 Peter joined Ozannes and specialises in capital markets, banking, trusts and offshore funds. He was Chairman of the panel appointed by the States of Guernsey to review the machinery of Government in Guernsey. In February 2006 Peter was appointed chairman of the Guernsey Financial Services Commission. Peter retired as a partner of the firm at the end of 2009 and now acts as a consultant.
